Hope I’m not too late for the weekly update. Excited for TTH which seems pretty imminent. A lot of YouTube channels have a 1-2 minute long intro video pinned at the top as a type of hello and FAQ on what the Channel in question is about. Not sure if it’s possible for yours, but something similar on your youtube might be beneficial for many of the newer folks. You could quick explain what the BPL is about, the charity work, that professor Tex is merely an in universe persona, what and where to find all the content, when & where you stream etc. Oh, and remind those weirdos to pay their bills to space AT&T.

Ah, yes... My first BT campaign, I had a similar experience with my CRUD-3R. It was the last surviving mech in the lance. Jumped into L2 water in a desperate attempt to survive. Botched the PS check, fell and took damage -- to the Cockpit.

My best memory with HBK-4G is it running into a perfect angle to deliver an AC/20 to the back of a Wolverine, failing a 4+ PSR, slipping on an asphalt, falling on it's face and exploding. Good times

Mister Tex, a guy I know shared a true BT Glory moment. That I now share with you. Xanthos made a donkey kick at Warrior VTOL flying too close to the ground, while XNT-2O - the old horse - was up a level. For some reason I heard in my head Warrior pilot screaming WHAT THE FUCK?! in mister Crow's voice. I just wanted you to have this mental image. A four-legged primitive horsie-mech donkey-kicking a VTOL into the ground. That is all. Have a good day.

I just ran a Rifts game for my friend and his girlfriend. It ended with them "launching" a Truly Immovable Rod with a crazed techno-wizard. I narrated how it stopped moving in excess of Mach 20 and blew the side of a hill into space. The PCs are currently unconscious and the techno-wizard is MIA. Thank you for the idea, it was epic!

I wanted to add, I had a very negative experience with a war game player in the 90’s so I stayed away from table top games for 20 years. A friend who knew I loved the Mechwarrior video games since MW2 forced me to play “A Game of Armoured Combat” and since then I started dipping my toes into the law and resources on YouTube. Your channel has excellent resources and allowed me to re-engage with a game I probably should have been playing since the late 90’s So well done sir

Love what you do, very excited for Tex Talks History. I'm curious, if you had to create a FrankenMech, what parts from what Mechs would you use? Personally, I think a Shadow Hawk with Rifleman arms would look funny. Also, opinions on 9mm 1911s? I'm looking at getting one since I'd like to limit what ammo types I have.

What would a tex talks TRO cover? Would it use the standard TRO template and layout? Also stop feeling bad about making money on this shit. You deserve it for all the great things you make and inspire. If we didn't have you we have to enjoy someone nowhere near as good, humble and charitable. Spoil your self a little you earned it.

Yeah just gonna add another thumbs up to the pile. Just 'cause. Yeah found this community from the Mad Cat video back when. Got into the setting because the SNES Mechwarrior 3050 game. Yay reskin of Desert Strike but Battletech and said CGI/2D animation show. Seriously was amazing for wee child me to see 3D animation in a tv show back when. Anyways before I make more of a fool of myself, not hard to do but I am not a funny person, your work with Battletech does spark joy and that is good.

Thank you for sharing the sound of one of the cornerstone weapons of modern American history, she sounded like majestic in a wonderfully mechanic way. On the subject of AFVs, favorite C&C tank? Myself overall I love the Apocalypse Tank from RA2... it just makes me happy.
