Funnily enough, I like PC-Man's color palette more than Pac-Man's.
Another great review! I did not know a pack existed this early. I was playing the Commodore 64K in the 1980's. I also had a Commodore PET as well.

True. A bag of beef jerky goes along better with beer.

I think a bag of beef jerky is a better Pac-Man than the 2600 game.
LGR
Absolutely. Having such a playable version of the game in '82 was pretty impressive.

Awesome! Yeah I was surprised to find these Orion Software games had any kind of packaging at all
LGR
Hehe, thank you, I went out of my way to time that perfectly!

My OCD thoroughly enjoyed how you ate the last pill at the perfect time as you finished speaking.

When I saw that box in your last video, I already thought "Woah, PC-Man came with a box? Hopefully he will review that soon". This was the one and only Pac-Man clone that I had as a child.

In my mind, Pacman is an awesome illustration of the huge difference at the time between purpose-built gaming hardware, and general-purpose computers. Kudos to Greg for recreating such a large portion of the magic entirely in software.

This definitely was a better version of Pacman than the 2600 version. And that one was official...
LGR
Agreed on both counts :)

This actually looks pretty sweet for an early IBM PC game. Also, don't you just love it when clones end up being better ports of a game compared to the official counterpart?
LGR
Yup, if you got far enough! Frequently credited as the first game to ever have them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8BT43ZWSTY
Arcade pac-man had cut scenes?
