That they did, come to think of it!
LGR
Haha, modding is wonderful.

An expansion is more expensive and comes with lots more new gameplay options. Things like entirely new careers, new ways to play the game, etc. Game Packs are like smaller, less expensive expansions and come with new items along with a few new bits of gameplay. Think of them as half-sized expansions.

Oh my god, that hair!! Now I really want to see the behind-the-scenes footage of how that decision came about!
For a Sims newbie, what is the between an expansion pack and a game pack?
Steven Friar
"Game pack", isnt that was nintendo used to call their games from the NES through the N64? I know the SNES at least called them this just because it included a (small) poster and instruction booklett.
Sabrina
Wow, it's not often that you agree on the price of a Sims game. That game pack looks a bit like the Sims 2 vacation pack, don't you agree?
Christian Doyle
The burning question is: Can you pitch a tent in your neighbours' garden in the main neighbourhood just to wind them up?
The Disgruntled Cactus
Felt like a snob for noticing this, but I could count the polygons on that duck's head. It looks like someone took a Sims 2 model and upgraded the texture quality. That being said, it looks like it could be better than the Sims 3 model ... POSSIBLY. I'd love to buy certain towns for the Sims 3, but I'll be hot damned if I'm going to pay 20 dollars for a city. A city. That's pathetic. Drop it to five dollars and I'll begrudgingly pay it but sweet Christ, 20 dollars.

Wow that was a fast turn around! Wasnt expecting this for another few days
LGR
Indeed it did. Thanks!

Life has a way of getting in the way of virtual life. Sadness.

Yay! I missed the crappy guitar singing around the campfire. Reminds me of Sims 1. :P At some point I actually need to play Sims 4... I did buy it for $30 around Christmas but just other parts of life/other games have gotten in the way. :(
