Wow... I actually liked this tape way more than I thought I would. And I am someone who grumbles whenever Christmas music plays on the radio, especially when it's played 24/7, ugh. I think my love for 80s synth really swooped in to save these songs. Too bad that the other ones aren't as good; but I'll probably check them out anyways, haha :D

I find this music oddly soothing...I'm listening to it while I work on a Sims house. XD Thanks for all your informative and entertaining vids, LGR! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas.

Sounds like Jazz Jackrabbit.
This is now my Christmas playlist until the day I die.
makes want to play Christmas nights into dreams again

Ugh, Clint you are just about to make me go out and thrift for my own setup like yours. Sadly I am very broke so I don't have to worry about it. Totally rad album man, this is right up my ally of music. Thanks for posting this, can't wait for more video's.

I want this in .mod format

Wow, 60fps fingers. frame rate upgrade of the new camera is definately noticeable
I had this on loop a few times while getting work done. Love it!

Missing the side-cam soda slurp right after that tape went in. LOL I love Christmas, though, so this video is suitably odd and awesome. Really cool editing, too. It really nails the imagery. The music itself is darn good, as well. Makes me want to play Christmas Lemmings.
Love stuff like this. Reminds me of a cassette tape we used to listen to in the car as young kids when we went on holiday. Took me years to piece together what is was with all the songs on it. Alas I couldn't get a copy of the original tape, but I managed to recreate the playlist. https://nicolaw.uk/HitsForKids !! :-D

I love how you set up the video, with the different angles and that lovely setup. Thank you, Clint! Also, 'Twelve days' reminds me of a Starcraft themed version of this tune that I heard who knows how long ago, probably with some custom map for BroodWar or something like that
In 2001 I was playing MP3's in my car using an aux in to tape adapter. Today I am watching a guy recording a digital video of a cassette playing. What happened lol
LGR
Because it's radical man

Considering the artist isn't known, the company is no longer in business, and I can't find any records of anyone claiming the songs where it's been uploaded to YouTube over the past five years I'd doubt that ;) Even then, I've never gotten a strike for music. Worst that happens is a ContentID match, which is quite different
LGR
It is peak nostalgia for me, reminds me of the kind of music you'd hear on the Weather Channel or in like, weird fabric stores back in the day
LGR
That thumping late 80s sound, ahhh
Nicholas Wilson
I have no idea why I’m siting listening to the whole thing? XD
LGR
Hehe, yeah I'd be shocked (and amused!) if the unknown artist popped up to claim it
Terry Lee
well I wasn't expecting this... The introduction sounds so dull and lifeless and then the beat drops 0.0
The 8-Bit Guy
I guess there isn't much chance of a content-ID match on this? hahah
Alyxx the Rat
That sounds kinda awesome. Love the synth sounds. It sounds so 80's... <3
I want one too. This makes me hope I find one at Goodwill now or eBay or ShopGoodwill, whatever. This sounds like a great soundtrack. Wait, this wouldn't get you a copyright strike on your channel, would it?
Garoninja
I haven't even watched the video yet and I want one
Xmas before xmas...

Plot twist: it's actually the Christmas Clone that goes thrifting
Frederic St-Georges
Did your Christmas clone enjoy that tape?
