There's a small group of people in Israel who took it upon themselves digitizing all the Hebrew computer magazines from the 80's to the early 2000's. I myself scanned a few issues for them. I have a close relative of the Vendex in the form of the Packard Bell PB88M. Unfortunately, mine suffered too much battery damage and it doesn't work. Finding a working backplane for it might be like finding hen's teeth.

The demo games could be a new series of it's own. I'd watch. Really puts things in perspective for me. You'll never run out of material.. I'm going to be watching you videos for many, many more years... Can't wait! 😁

As for those demo disks, I think the best way to make videos on them is to make one video of a retrospective on them on the main channel (Like what you did with Floppies and CDs). On the Blurbs side you could do some videos on going over some of your favorites in a more causal way. If you want to be a bit experimental, maybe you could do a livestream of you going over random disks and see what happens? Maybe use one of your multi-disk CD-ROM changers just for the fun of it?

What a great haul of donations. Pretty sure I have a near complete collection of PC Gamer magazines from 1996 to 2005. I asked my dad to mail them to me (two big boxes). I can take inventory once I receive them. Would you be interested in any?

The early to market/unfinished nature is a huge part of the appeal to me, yeah! I've got a 200lx too actually, so it should be fun to compare them side by side

Looking forward to the Portfolio video, I've regularly had opportunities to buy one (there are actually 2 on a local auction site right now) but I find it a bit of an awkward, "unfinished" thing, I have an HP 200lx which IMO is basically the refinement of those DOS-based handhelds, much nicer display, PC card slot, built-in serial instead of a monstrous side module etc. The Portfolio seems to be a nice thing to play with as long as you've got a bunch of add-on modules and cards which are much more difficult to find but you do, so it's going to be interesting :)

I've seen folks do the same with that collection and jewel cases! They honestly could've sold it boxed as a discount game compilation in stores back in the day and I bet it would've sold, it's such a fun mix of titles

It appears to be a bit more generic to me! But yeah there's no telling, I haven't scrounged up any real information on them yet. Mostly just a few random posts on 3dfx forums and collector sites.

Thank you! It is truly difficult not to feel some kind of obligation to cover all the things when you're staring at two large rooms filled floor to ceiling with donations... but yeah, I can only hope folks understand that I'm doing my best with what I've got :)

I actually found that PC gamer classic games Collection at a Goodwill and decide to buy it just because it had some pretty interesting games on it, and what's really cool is that the previous owner put the disc in a jewel case and use the original disc holder as an insert for the jewel case where a game manual would go

I wish I still had all my old PC Gamers. I would send them too you. I do miss the disks. They did send one out once with the full version of Deus Ex on it. Played that and loved it.

This really helped wind down at the end of the day. I hope you don't feel burdened by what seems like a growing backlog. Surely your fans understand it's not feasible to go through everything :) Let it spark your creativity and excite you about possibilities, but never burden you. I don't think anyone meant for that.

Yeah there was definitely a Tie Fighter demo, no doubt shipped with a few different mags! I know it also came on one of the LucasArts Archives CDs.

I know exactly what you mean regarding remembering the demos over the games. I love LucasArts TIE FIGHTER -- played it countless, countless hours -- but what I remember most was that demo that one of the game magazines included on a floppy (I'm pretty sure; someone correct me if not) way way back when.
