LGR - The Sims 4 High School Years Review
🕑 Added 2022-08-03 22:36:45 +0000 UTCGreetings, y'all! And wow, this is my first time covering a Sims pack in over a year... admittedly kinda weird to return to it. The time away certainly helped though as I conclude this reviewing experience significantly less irritable compared to how I felt in 2021, heh.
And yep, this is exactly what it says on the tin: a review of the TWELFTH expansion to The Sims 4, making it the series entry with the most EPs in its lifetime. And don't even get me started on all the stuff packs, game packs, content kits, and whatever else they've started selling. Seriously the game costs over $1000 to buy everything at this point, it's bonkers. I honestly haven't kept up with all the stuff in-between this pack and last, and I have no desire to. Just one big expansion a year is enough!
Next video is up in the air, but it's either going to be awesome or radical, I'm not sure yet. There are a couple of ongoing things I've been researching and putting together a video about in-between these other things so we'll see what gets done first. Oh and $5+ patrons can expect the July LGR Wrap Up episode in the coming week, too!

Yo! I finally have 2 LGR style project machines and a retro pc area set up now after years of watching. Question: Can I use a vga splitter to connect both machines 2 one CRT so I don't have to keep swapping? Is there a better way to do that?

I've always enjoyed that those are in-game, hehe. As a default item even! Often the devs place them down in black but I always have to change the color to beige.

Okay, I know a lot of schools have outdated technology, but I *seriously* doubt that any high school in the 2020s would still be rocking what appear to be Macintosh SE's in their computer lab (6:55-7:00).

It was, but this is… different. Ha, they really do like remixing existing stuff and adding slightly new ways of doing the same stuff over and over.

I always watch your SIMS videos even though I've never played it. I feel like I get my SIMS fill vicariously and that's just fine with me. :-)
Good review as always. I've bought every full Sims 4 expansion up till now, but I'll be skipping this one. Couple of cool items, but with the possible exception of the thrift store, the gameplay is of little to no interest to me. (And wasn't earning money through streaming already part of the base game video gaming skill?)
