Seeing how "fluidly" Need for Speed III and UT99 were running, I'm wondering if they'd perform better in software rendering rather than trying to push that poor SIS chipset into gaming? A PIII 500 has enough grunt to get it going around 512x384; I will do some testing on my Windows 98 PC to try and verify it.

Saw you commenting on the NIC BIOS taking a while to boot (assume its seeing if it can get a DHCP lease and boot options). Made me ask have you ever considered setting up a PXE boot setup? I know you use CF cards a lot, but if you are installing OSes on old hardware, it could help with avoiding physical media. I use iPXE in my homelab and it does wonders.

Okay from what I remember from my apprenticeship as electricians. Without load the voltage usually should be a bit higher, sometimes up to 1V higher. But it never should be lower. Also the 5v channel has 6,5v? Like what is it expecting to power there? Good thing you checked I think it would have blown up the whole motherboard.

Not sure, the bear really doesn’t weigh much! Almost seems like it was stored for a long time underneath some much heavier objects

Yesssss, finally! Kinda yikes about that case warping, tho, does the bear really add that much weight to it? Or was it possibly a side effect of the being bolted to that table?

Did you bend back the sheared case? Did you glue back the broken front plastic pieces? I wish you did the Duke voice with the "Much better" at around 20:00 :) Configure the 2 digit display to bE and AR :D
