Long Island Retro Gaming Expo 2024

This one is in addition to my travel vlog on LGR Blerbs. It's an overview of the show itself, what it's like attending and exhibiting, and of course a tour of everything they had on display there this year. Being held within an aerospace museum, it is quite an unusual venue for a convention and the sights are unique, so I hope you enjoy!
I'll be back with something simpler next week if all goes well, and I'm also working on my big Sims 2 Twentieth Anniversary retrospective — coming when it's done. Have a good one till then and thank you for your support!

Question for wrapup: do you know that the guys from the huge podcast Aquired shouted you out on their Microsoft deep dive from april? It was super cool to encounter that in the wild. it happens right after -14:15 https://www.acquired.fm/episodes/microsoft. Also, one guy says some day older machines won't be able to boot anymore so it's cool you are preserving it on video, he is obviously just wrong about that right?

Wow, Clint... Thank you for this amazing representation of LI Retro. You managed to capture the vibe in a way only LGR can. And heck yes we can do an IMAX sized presentation! They say the gear is quite old though, but that shouldn't be a problem!

It’s definitely one of the best shows I’ve seen for obscure systems with even more odd peripherals. Tons I’d never heard of either!

This looks absolutely amazing :) I'm so drawn to the the old and strange looking consoles with amazing controllers. I don't know about all of them and I want to play with them.

I have to say, after watching your VLOG, you've really sold me on Long Island Retro. A buddy and I are considering driving down from Ottawa next year to check it out. I showed him the VLOG and he was like "It's a retro gaming show AND an aircraft museum?! I'm in!"
