It has been well established (like... multiple mentions of it) over the previous book that "Lala" is a nickname for Laura because that is what Cap calls her. This is not a typo. And this is why I do not let anyone but myself edit my work.

There's a difference in public opinion between a female celebrity being bisexual and a male celebrity being gay. That's one thing. And who says they have to admit that Celia and Laura are bisexual? I'm not saying they won't, but they don't have to.

They are talking about this being Jake’s decision, but when they do this, they are going to be outing Celia as bisexual which she has been hiding for years. Isn’t that going to have the same consequences for her career/fans as claiming Jake is gay? How does she feel about that?
