so whats coming up? thats your call! again comment on the video i just posted as its easier for me to see
I have two in the works that are about a mini long ship and im finishing my narration on the carving how two but the next 4 to 6 part video im looking at doing one of the following
option 1, no electricity at all using minimal tools and making my own charcoal, then making my own steel, then making a knife. i mean going old old school. working on the ground. stump anvil, using a period style hammer and tongs, no flux.
or
option 2, an anthropomorphic celtic le tene sword.
i would make the steel, cast the bronze handle using person clay method, maybe try to do a period metal sheath?
im going to do both of these but you get to pick what next. majority wins.

That is a trade secret

It appears the carvings are darkened before the oil. Does the oil have some type of dye dissolved in it? Trying to improve my knowledge and your handle finishes are wonderful, as well as the blades.

I dont use stain only mineral or linseed oil

Either one would be good. By the way what stain do you use on the handle carvings?
