Long before I had ever borne a child of my own, I was watching the movie "Slaughterhouse-5" (based on the Vonnegut novel of the same name), and when the last living human beings in the Universe have a child, the aliens keeping them alive create a fireworks display to celebrate the event, I said, "Every time a child is born, it's Christmas!" My future husband agreed (and we had a child together, who is now 40 years old) So virtual fireworks and other celebratory activities to take place when your child decides to enter our world.
