Patreon Payment Update
🕑 Added 2016-08-04 22:41:35 +0000 UTC Hey guys, I've opted to use a new payment method on Patreon in order to deter a lot of the fraud running through my campaign. This really only affects any new Patrons for the most part, unless you up your pledge to a higher tier. Here is a link to the article laying it all out. Yeah. It seemed wierd that you got access to content just for pledging without actually having paid anything. New system keeps everything good.

Exactly, if it says you are going to get a certain amount this month, you should be able to trust that what that number says, is true.

Yeah it will for sure help. In my case, a lot of people would keep creating fake accounts with fraudulent cards to gain access to the bigger reward tiers, which really threw my numbers off!

It's about time they let creators do that. It must be a huge bummer when you get a lot less than you thought because a bunch of patrons didn't go through.
