Status Update (Final)

I apologize for being so quiet the past couple of weeks. I'm heartbroken to report that the worst has happened. My sister made the decision to enter into hospice care a little while ago and only two short days after that she was gone. It was very peaceful and her grace while facing this challenge was astounding. She felt that she had learned and accomplished everything she was meant to in this life even though it was cut short. She will always inspire me. She knew how to live life bravely, without shame and with love for all. I will carry that with me always. Despite the peace and acceptance we found in the end, it is still a very difficult thing to adjust to. I have begun organizing her memorial and taking care of all the loose ends that come with an unexpected illness and passing. Most of all, I need to take some time to grieve and be with family.
Even though it feels like the world should stop turning, that is not how it works. Life goes on for those of us still here and she would be the first to make sure I kept on living it to the fullest extent. That is what we are here for, to soak up all of the joy, love and good times we can find. I intend to do just that.
The Lusty Lizard will return to production in June. In the meantime, I will be less of a stranger. You'll see me a little more on social media and especially on Discord. I can't express enough what your support throughout this ordeal has meant to me. It truly touches my heart that so many have stuck around and waited patiently while I've been wading through the muck of this horrible experience. I'd never have guessed that creating adult animation would have led me to such a great community full of so many wonderful people. Life can truly be amazing! Thank you all.

This might be inappropriate to say as I don't know you and if it is I am sorry in advance. Whenever someone close passes its important to remember that they loved you and I am 100% certain your sister would want you to be as happy as possible. I know it is going to hurt, and I am so so sorry, but don't forget that. I am sure she wants to be remembered for all the smiles and good times that she brought your family and I am sure she knew that you loved her too. I hope you feel better Liz.
