well since I know it's you and AOT I already know I'll enjoy it, however I'm sure that if it had text it'll be more "eye catching' for new comers, specially since it's usually a funny comment like "spin to win" or an overall opinion on the episode, they might see it; laugh or agree and either way they'll be more engaged and more likely to want to watch though that's just my opinion also please take care of your eyes, a shadowed face fits more with this season anyway XD

Yeah I actually do agree with this. If it's to attract people, the text should be larger. I don't really mind if he doesn't have text moving on because it was so small on his thumbnails, I never really looked at them. And text is useful basically because of what you said
I noticed you removed the text on Patreon but I still see them on YouTube. I'm used with the text but it doesn't really change much, so do what you want to do
I'd also say that text works better for youtube :)

The text works better for youtube, as it gives a brief idea of your thoughts during that episode. Personally, texts catch my eye
