Maybe, nothings been confirmed as weve both said, Kurapika wasn't adressed to be a male til several chapters, he was consistently referred to with Japanese specific gender neutral pronouns, Alluka also often is referred to with these neutral pronouns from some characters. The problem is the inconsistencies here. Different characters consistently use different pronouns male, female, and neutral inconsistent from other characters. Killua only used male once, mostly female. Silvo consistently used neutral and Illumi consistently male. Hence why the theory exist. Its not the same as Kurapika and others who while ambiguous was consistent. Im sorry to tell you what you said yourself after i said first, nothing has been said officially. There is no definitive answer. You dont have one. I dont have one. Togashi didn't say anything definitive. I am just letting Omario know the most widely accepted explanation by fans who have no definitive answer. Google alluka and thats the most common answer. I stated in the first sentence, its just a theory, an anime theory, thanks for repeating me.

I am really sorry that Ill have to say this but this has nothing to do with LGBT or whatever, its just Togashi likes being ambiguous with certain characters, Alluka is one of them.

Indeed its not confirmed, nor debunked, as i said nothing official but it is the most widely accepted explanation and Togashi has had LGBT characters in other manga so it might be true. Add other explanations for the lack of clear pronoun usage if you want, its still the most accepted theory.

Hisoka asking Illumi for permission to "kill" Killua is actually censorship, he didn't ask that cause as he said seconds later, he likes to keep as many toys to play with as he can. Im sure you can guess knowing Hisoka what he actually asked permission to do to Killua.

Alluka was born male, but only Killua cares for her enough to respect her identity, at least thats the prevailing theory. Theres nothing official outright claiming Alluka to be transgender. But its the most plausible explanation for why everyone else refers to her with male pronouns.
