Shizuka turned from her phone to see Yuko walk into the room. “Hey Yuko, I see you're still covered in blood.”
“I know I'm filthy, but it appears there's so much to do around here. The amount of stuff you and Akira hid in this place, it's practically a wholesale.” Yuko said with a chuckle.
“The lady at the store kept on asking me where I put all those noodles and canned food I bought.” Shizuka said as her tired eyes turned away from the cold phone.
“Shizuka I think-
“He's just late,” Shizuka interrupted. “His coming, I know it.”
“How can you be so sure Shizuka?” Yuko asked.
“Because he told me, Akira has never lied to me.” Shizuka said as looked her friend in the eye. “His coming, I can feel it.”
“That last part feels like a dirty joke you snuck in…”
“Who's to say?” Shizuka said with a smile.
“You are,” Yuko replied blankly. “Now get up, the kids called a meeting. Unlike you there's some doubts on whether Akira is coming back or not.”
The blonde nurse stood up from her bed, grabbing her phone as she did. “What about you Yuko? Do you think he'll come.”
Yuko paused for a moment before she smirked. “Oh he'll come, they always come.”
“I guess I deserve that, don't I?” Shizuka chuckled as the walked out of the room.
“Who's to say?”
Shizuka and Yuko made their way downstairs, where the rest of the group gathered in the living room. With piles of instant noodles and canned foods in the middle.
“Finally, Ms. Boobs for brains is here! Let the meeting begin!” Takagi was the first to spot them. The rest of the group were seated on the couches, likely exhausted from gathering the food.
“She's talking about you,” Shizuka whispered to Yuko as they made their way to a free couch.
“Since we have some new faces, let me explain the plan we had come up with at school. It's a simple three step plan, the first step was getting out of school and coming here. Once we're rested we then move on to step two which is going to Takagi Manor. Step three, for some reason Akira decided to keep to his chest.” Takagi explained. “Since Akira is not here, I propose we take the guns Akira had mentioned and head to Takagi Manor.”
“Wait shouldn't we keep waiting for Akira?” Rei exclaimed, the girl was seated next to her mother. The older woman silently watching the proceedings. “I know he's a little late but-

“Oh please Takagi you're just being selfish,” Yuuki said, the gyaru was seated next to Takashi, one leg over the other. “We saw you earlier, you made a phone call to your house. Judging by your eagerness it's safe to say things are good over there.”
“It's not just that!” Saya huffed. “I talked to mommy, she says daddy has mobilized people to protect the Manor, It's a stronghold now!”
“That's great and all but mommy and daddy aren't the ones who got your ass safely out of school.” Yuuki retorted. You could practically see the veins bulging on Saya's face, the girl was about to go on an angry rant before Takashi stood up. He along with the other boys had sat on the floor to give space to everyone else.
“Okay let's all just calm down,” Takashi said, eyes glancing between Saya and Yuuki. “As much as it pains me to say, Saya is right. We can't just sit here waiting, we all have people we need to check up on. Akira had a plan but with him gone, we just have to change it. And right now Saya's plan is the best option.”
“I can't believe you're talking about leaving behind Akira!” Rei got to her feet, a glare on her face. “You realise he's the reason we're still alive!”
“You don't get it Rei, your mom is safe! Some of us don't even know if our parents are alive! We can't waste time just sitting here!” Takashi shot back.
“You can't be serious, Hisashi tell him-
“He's right Rei,” Hisashi said as he stood up, his hand a clenched fist as he looked down. “I have a little sister out there, it's driving me crazy not knowing whether she's safe or not!”
Rei could only stare wide eyed, now realising that she was lucky enough to have her mother next to her while her friends didn't even know if their parents were alive or not. The girls mother gently grabbed her hand and pulled her down into a hug.
“Let's ask the adults then,” Takashi said as all eyes turned Shizuka and Yuko. “What do you guys think we should do?”
“Akira is coming,” Shizuka said with conviction. It didn't matter if it was seconds from now, an hour or even a week later! He was going to come for her, like he always does.
“Akira is coming,” Yuko said as well, a smile on her face before she turned serious.“I understand your concerns and frustrations, I truly do. But Akira is important, not just to us but to possibly the whole city. He has the ability to save a lot of lives. So do what you must but I'm staying here.”
“Mrs Miyamoto what do you think?”
“Right now, Rei is safe. That's all that matters to me.” The Woman said as she held her daughter tighter. “Plus I wish to personally thank Akira.”
“Kohta, what about you?” Takashi turned the other boy.
“My parents are all abroad, there's no one waiting for me at home.” The boy said as he looked down. “I…I don't think I can go back out there anytime soon.”
“Yuuki…”
“...my parents are out there somewhere, even if I knew where they are how would I protect them? I'd just be putting myself and them in danger.” The girl replied.
“Saeko-
“I've been ordered to stay by Nurse Shizuka's side,” Third year girl said, unlike everyone else she had opted to stand, leaning against a nearby wall.
Shizuka could see the strength leave Takashi's body as his shoulders slumped and he sighed. He was beaten.
Saya on the other hand…
“What is wrong with you people!” The girl angrily yelled. “You're all acting like Akira is just going to walk in at any moment!”
Suddenly, the eerie sound of the door opening made everyone pause and turn their attention to it. Saeko and Yuko had already drawn their swords when-
Akira causally walked in.
“Hey hey people seeth here-
Before he could even finish his sentence Shizuka had all but dived at him. He easily caught her in his arms as she wrapped hers around him.
“Akira!” Shizuka cried as she held him close. The blonde knew he would return to her but the thought of him getting hurt had still popped up in her head. “I'm so happy to see you!”
“...yeah me too,” Akira replied as he held her tighter. He gently put Shizuka down just as Rei came running.
“Akira!” The girl yelled as she came up and hugged him. “You're okay! I was so worried!”
“...thanks for worrying,” He said once they separated. “I need someone to open the garage for Ayumu and his mother.”
“I'll go,” Saeko said while the rest of the group came to gather around Akira.
“I'm glad everyone is safe but I need a phone,” Akira said as Yuuki perked up and handed him her phone.
“If you need me I'll be in the living room,” Akira said as he began to walk off.
“Akira wait, we need to talk about-
“Whatever it is can wait,” Akira didn't even bother to look at Takashi. He simply walked away.
Shizuka watched his back with a frown on her face. Even if the world was ending, and a tornado was in the room, Akira would still have stopped and heard Takashi out. Her lover was that much of a goody two shoes. So to see him be so dismissive…
Something was wrong…
Or maybe Shizuka was just seeing things. It's been hectic day, Akira was probably tired.
She shook her head and went over to greet Ayumu and his mother just as they came in.

Taiga Fujimura whistled a tune as she took a casual stroll around the Island. Akira had really outdone himself this time! The place was like a city and she was its ruler. The only occupants of the place were just her and the rest of the Fujimura clan. Most of the time they were either drinking the night away or playing whatever sport they wanted. Be it Basketball, baseball or Volleyball. Despite all the fun and games, Taiga made sure her idiots still kept up with their training.
Even though Akira had basically left her in charge he still put in place rules she had to follow. Most of the buildings had been locked up tight, with only a half a building available for her men to sleep in and the toilets and bathrooms.
Taiga had been given the honor of sleeping in the mansion she had nicknamed the Big House. She was the only one allowed to enter and even then some of the rooms were locked to her. In her room was a large metal safe, something Akira had told her to guard with her life. Apparently it had the keys to the rest of the Island safely stored inside. Apart from the kitchen down stairs, pantry and one of the bathrooms there was another room Taiga had access to. A large room upstairs that held a lot of computer crap. The only things she recognised was a fax machine, a projector and the many many computer screens. Most of the stuff here was covered in dust because she rarely went up there.
“Boss!”
Taiga stopped walking and turned to see one of her men running towards her.
“Boss, come with me! Somethings happening in the city!”
Taiga frowned as she stared at the breathless subordinate. “What's going on?” She asked.
“According to the news the dead are coming to life and attacking the living!” The man said frantically, his eyes wide and filled with terror. “We called some of the guys still left in the city a-and they confirmed everything just before they…”
Normally Taiga would call bull but the fear in the man's eyes…
This wasn't some prank her idiot men had come up with, this was real.
“Where's everyone?” Taiga asked seriously, as she pulled out her phone and dialed Akira.
“In the courtyard, we had set up the TV outside for karaoke when the emergency broadcast came up!”
“You guys really love Karaoke don't you?” Taiga sighed. “Come on, let's go.”
As they walked, Taiga glanced at her phone. Normally Akira would have answered by now…
A few minutes later they made it to where the rest of the Fujimura clan was gathered.
“Make way for the boss!” Someone yelled as the small crowd parted for Taiga.
She walked over to TV, the news playing as a nervous looking anchor spoke.
“-Government is not sure how this happened but rest assured they are working on it. We advise everyone to stay in doors as they work to clear roads for safe evacuations. I've just been told that we have footage to show, viewer discretion is advised.”
The news feed cut to soldiers shooting down people. Even through a screen Taiga could tell there was something not right about the people being killed.

Suddenly the phone in Taiga's hand rang, she quickly answered and pressed it to her ear.
“Hello Tiger,”
“It seems you were right, brat.” She said with a chuckle. “I lost the bet, that means you get to fuck me in the ass.”
“...If I make it to the Island I'll put that on the top of my to-do list.” Akira smoothly replied, much to her annoyance. She was hoping to trip him up damn it! “You're the city's last defense, I want you and everyone else to protect the Island at all costs. Not that many people know what the Island is and will be more preoccupied with either staying in doors or evacuating. This should be easy enough for you. And have one of your men preferably someone good with computers go on the website I'm about to give you. There all the rules and weaknesses can be found. I'll call back when I can, only call me if it's an emergency.”
“Akira you-” Before Taiga could finish, the line went dead. “Damn brat, I wanted to ask where he was so I could send people to pick him up! Whatever, as long as my job is easy.”
Two hours later…
“Boss, there's a crowd of people at the gate!”
“So much for an easy job,” Taiga muttered as she stood up. She along with the rest of the clan were armed to the teeth with swords and spears. Some had guns but Akira had instructed to have all guns confiscated and hidden. Only she knew where they were.
“And the JSDF is with them!”
“Next time say that shit in a single sentence!” Taiga growled, she glanced back. In total she had Forty people with her on the Island. All dressed in nice black suits with a roaring tiger emblem at the jacket. Behind her stood twenty. “Ten of you step forward and come with me!”
“Yes boss!”
A few minutes later she made it to the large gates where a few of her men stood guard. Passing through the small gate meant for people, as Taiga made her way outside she was met with the sight of hundreds of people and JSDF pointing their guns at her.
She couldn't help but smirk.
“Oh yeah, meeting that dirty orphan was the greatest thing that ever happened to me!” Taiga grinned, as she stepped forward. “This is private property, you guys are trespassing!”

Ichirou Shido was having a bad week.
A problem that had been solved was suddenly rearing its ugly head. That damned Miyamoto had gotten close at first but now he was practically up Ichirou's ass! The only thing that was saving his ass was the money he had gotten from that Island city.
Ichirou was one of the few who was giving the foreigner a hard time, who cared if this thing could potentially bring more job opportunities for the people of Tokonosu. All he wanted was his cut. And a cut it was! He had made sure to Tax living shit out of that foreigner. Be it construction, transportation of goods, man power. Whatever he could The money he had gotten from this had set him up for life!
While the money was enticing, he couldn't help but wonder just what was going on over there. Most of the people working on the Island had been paid extra to keep things quiet but Ichirou had managed to pay extra to some of them. After all, everyone loves money!
Food enough to feed Tokonosu for years was bought and stored away. Buildings filled with beds and secret passages, it was like the foreigner was building walls to hide behind. But what was he hiding from? Even more unusual, once the walled city was done the Yakuza moved in. It didn't make sense to Ichirou so he left alone.
After all, he had Miyamoto to deal with.
Somehow Miyamoto had found a powerful backer, someone who was well connected. Their fight was coming to an end soon with Ichirou losing.
Fortunately, it seemed fate had other plans for Ichirou Shido. Just before Miyamoto could close in, the world ended! The dead came back to life with a hunger for the human flesh.
And now it made sense…
That foreign bastard knew! Those walls weren't just for decoration!
Ichirou had been safe in his home when all this happened, and despite him being under fire he was still a very powerful man. In less than an hour his personal guards were joined by some members of the JSDF.
He had three options.
First was Souichiro Takagi, apparently the man had set up his Manor as a stronghold. The problem was, Takagi despised him and the feeling was mutual.
Second was the Elementary school the JSDF and police were setting up. This was a good option but the problem was that it's at the other side of the city.
And Finally, there was the Island. It was close enough to get to without too much of a hassle and the JSDF had some interesting information to share about it.
“As soon as the outbreak started we had considered the Island as a potential stronghold for the JSDF to get civilians to. Shintoko Third Elementary School happens to have a lot of children thag belong to some VIPs.”
“Then let's do it,” Ichirou told the man on the phone. “Let's direct a few people to the Island. Between my guards, your guys and the desperate fleeing people we can over power the Yakuza filth.”
Then he'll take charge and be the leader of his own private kingdom!
“We have some buses filled with civilians, we can redirect them to the Island…”
“That's all I ask, I just want to help as many people as I can.” Ichirou replied with a smirk.
Two hours later Ichirou stood at the gates of the Island. Its large walls were truly a sight to behold! And soon it was all going to be his. With his men and the JSDF at the front and two large buses behind them, they made for quite the intimidating force.
“This is private property, you guys are trespassing!” The woman at the front yelled. Judging from her attire, a black men's suit and sword at her hip. She was a Yakuza.
“This is a state of emergency, we are allowed by law to turn any building into an official government holding.” The Captain of the JSDF team said as he stepped forward. “Either let us through willingly or we'll go in by force.”
“Sorry can't do that, I'll have to ask the boss.” The Woman replied, a smirk on her face.
“And who exactly is in charge? I would rather we settle this peacefully.” The Captain said as the woman shrugged.
“My boss is a strange one, we have to wait for him to call.” The Woman said.
“The you leave us no choice-
“My name is Taiga Fujimura, boss of the Fujimura clan! If you take even one step I will cut you down. The Gates behind me are made of reinforced steel, as per my instructions they have been locked. Nothing is going through there without my say so.” The now named Taiga Fujimura said.
“You can't be serious, we have people waiting with us! You can't just-
“Look, I'd like nothing more than to let you in but orders are orders. It's not like we're turning you away…” Taiga Fujimura sighed. “Just keep your men in check and let's keep things civil.”
The Captain seemed to think things over before he sighed. “Yes, I suppose we can do that.” The man said before he turned. “Lower your weapons, men.”
Ichirou watched all this with a slight frown, them having to wait was not part of the plan. Still this was just a minor set back, soon they'll be inside, he'll have his kingdom and the arrogant Taiga Fujimura will be on her knees sucking his cock.

Koichi Shido stared at the bars that held him back with nothing but contempt. Two weeks ago while he was teaching a class the police suddenly showed up and arrested him! The utter humiliation! He was dragged to a police station and shoved in a jail cell. It turns out his father had sold him out to save his own skin!
Miyamoto would come by and Shido was more than happy to put his father under the bus. The fat bastard deserved to be the one sleeping in jail cell!
Despite his circumstances, Shido made the most of it. He used his silver tongue to befriend the hooligans in the other cells. As the days went on Shido patiently waited for his moment.
Never in a million years did think that moment would come in the form of the world ending.
Tricking the few police officers left in the station was child's play. Overpowering them was even more so…
“Hey Shido you want in on this? Police girl pussy is simply the best!”
“No thank you my friend, indulge yourself.” Shido said with a smile. Ignoring the screams, he made his way over to where a bloody soaked gun was. This was it. This was his chance to be more! Screw his father! Screw Miyamoto! This was his time! The world was his oyster!

Seems we have our villains for the coming arc.
You guys have suggestions for the Island? Someone on QQ pointed out that Akira forgot to stock pile Feminine hygiene products. So I decided to say fuck it and turned that into an upcoming arc where Akira and Yuko go into the city and break into stores.
Let me know if you have ideas and suggestions.
Also Patreon seems broken, I can't use italics or bold letters for some reason. Hope they fix things.

that was excellent and i thought he did have hygine products. ill have to go back and read. as for italics and bold. i thinks its better without them unless used in conversation where someone yells a word that wouldnt normally be stressed. english already has an ebb and flow to it usually added exciters arent needed beyond a ! every now and then.
