This is Lucy's hairstyle, from Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and it's also the 100th hairstyle I've released here on Patreon (woohoo).
You need to have the two plugins above by Stopper in your AddonPackages folder for the colors to load as shown.

there is more information on the hair color texture plugin page: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/hair-color-texture.44307/ but i would also add that the bitmap columns are ordered by the scalp mesh vertex numbers. you can either order the vertices predictably when creating the scalp, or it's possible to use a blender script to output colors for existing hairstyles that use a scalp with randomly ordered verts.

Hello! I have a question. How do you create the color image files inside the .var file? They seem to allow for very detailed dyeing. Do you export them using an external program? For example, making hair rainbow-colored isn’t possible with the default dye options, but it looks like your method makes it possible.
