Mid-week update - Oct 27th 2022
🕑 Added 2022-10-27 15:57:46 +0000 UTCGood morning beautiful people,
sending you this update for the gorgeous island of Aruba (one of my personal favourites!) 🏝️
Just wanted to swing by and say hello. Reiss is currently stuck onboard doing a crew emergency simulation drill so i’ve taken the opportunity to get off and catch up on some wi-fi. It’s been lovely to disconnect but it’s also lovely to reconnect!
Some exciting Patreon news (more for me but thought i’d share with you all) - Patreon have launched Patreon Video which is an interval video platform which means I can now upload directly to Patreon instead of having to use external systems such as Vimeo. This will make for a much smoother uploading process for me and hopefully for you guys too for viewing.
I’ve been getting my face stuck into the above book and it’s truly wonderful. It’s the prequel to Adam Silvera’s “They Both Die At The End”… as the titles give away… they definitely hit you in the feels 💔
anyway, i am off to meet my love and go for some famous Dutch Pancakes. Hope you enjoy tomorrows final episode… I have scheduled the Season 1 Recap video for the 31st instead of next friday so you can all watch it before binging Season 2 (please no spoilers as I won’t be able to watch until the week after release).
love, always ❤️

it’ll be worth the wait. it completely broke me.

they didn’t last even remotely long enough to be filmed 🤣

Glad you’re enjoying your time away and relaxing (at least somebody listens to me!!!). I just started this book last night and so pumped for it already!!!

Am I wrong to want a video of the Dutch pancakes? Enjoy!!

I recently bought The First To Die at The End and look forward to reading it after I'm finished with a bunch of uni assignments I have at the moment!

Yeah, I agree. I just went with it and really enjoyed reading it. Now reading If We Were Villains by M.L Rio, which sold itself to me on the premise of being like The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I passionately recommend the latter, not sure about the former, yet…Looking forward to the reaction to the final episode of season 1 tomorrowbut with mixed emotions as I found it very emotional to watch the first time.🙃🥺

nice to know you're having a good time, hope the rest of the holiday goes smoothly! i still have to read they both die at the end, hopefully i'll get to it soon since i've heard great things about it. can't wait to watch the final episode tomorrow!!

I really enjoyed that book. The racy bits were a bit jarring only in the sense that I had become so immersed in the HS world that I just wasn’t expecting them. There I was reading along and minding my own business, then all of a sudden “Oh! So this is happening! Cool.” Lol. Absolutely looking forward to the adaptation. It looks really well cast.

Nice!👍

It’s quite ‘racey’ to use one of your lovely words 😏 but also quite touching and funny. Have a great rest of your holiday.

That book is being converted into a series for Netflix I believe. So stay tuned for this series to air sometime soon in the near future.

That leg is looking nicely tanned, I am pleased to see! 😎Just finished reading Red, White and Royal Blue after someone on Patreon recommended it. Very enjoyable!

It’s going to be wonderful to have the videos embedded in the platform. Aruba is a really special island. It was one of the first islands I ever came too so it’ll always be dear to my heart.

Truly having a wonderful time. Finally getting to watch House Of The Dragon too as I was saving it to watch with Reiss! The books are great… can’t recommend enough!

Patreon Video sounds like a wonderful idea, since I have had difficulties at some times with videos that ended up on Vimeo (though none of yours). I’ve never been to the Caribbean, but Aruba sounds like it definitely agrees with you. Continue enjoying your holiday!

Glad you’re having such a wonderful holiday. Sending love. Those books are on my ever-growing reading list. Looking forward to the rest of the YR S1 content, and that is indeed wonderful news about Patreon. Stay safe. Thanks for the update and the smile. 😊❤️
