I'm sitting in bed doing some research for content whilst waiting for episode 6 to upload for you all (will be post first thing in the morning for you all) and I decided I wanted to write a little post to begin the year.
So welcome to 2023 and what will be our first full year on Patreon. The past 6 months of creating for this platform has been some of the most fulfilling work I've created and I can't thank you all enough for turning up week after week to engage with me (and all of us). I know many of us feel this community is something very special and I can't wait to see where 2023 takes us together.
I speak about this a little bit at the beginning of Episode 6 but what are all your thoughts on New Years Resolutions? Do you have any? If so post them below!
My new years resolution is to be the best version of myself. It's quite a broad one but I know exactly how that looks in my head. I want to get my health back under control basically... everything from nutrition and working out, to sleep, mindfulness, self care and just overall healthy habits. All these things combined will allow me to be the best version of myself and I am so excited for that journey.
As a result I'm going to be posting my most personal video to date at the beginning of Feb and I can't wait to post it for you all first before it goes onto YouTube.
Other than that - I just want to say I hope you all had a wonderful holiday period and I wish each and every one of you health and happiness in 2023. I know January can often be a tough month for people so I just want to send you all so much love. I cannot wait to keep connecting with you all in the comments and in the DMs.

Resolution - say yes to things more. Get in touch with old friend you have not seen for years. (Just met with a group of old friends today - and realized how interesting they all are in their own way and how much I missed them).

Sooo many thoughts came to my mind... Thinking about resolutions or expectations for 2023... It's hard to put all into words... Especially in a different language... 😂 Today was a very important day for us in Brazil. A day we said as a country "we demand democracy forever". I guess that's a big motto for the years ahead as individuals and as a society. Hopefully we will be able to live day after day conscious of that and being respectful to each other. What makes me feel my big resolution is to be present in each day of 2023 making room for what really matters. 😊 I am really excited and kind nervous to watch your reaction to the season finale of YR. 🙈 And yes! More Heartstopper and YR content for us in 2023. ♥️ Loads of love, guys!

I personally don’t believe in New Years Resolutions, partly because I never stick to them but also because I think you can make resolutions at any time of the year, why should it always be at the start of it? I do have quite a lot of physical problems which just seem get added to instead of reducing and the doctor suggested that I needed an operation but it had a weight limit before they would do it and unfortunately I am two stone over that limit, so I started a weight loss group at work before Xmas (yes, I know, a stupid time to do it!!) anyway for Xmas I got a voucher for a Shiatsu Massage, I went for it the other day and I kid you not, I felt and looked a lot lighter than before I went in. Anyways, my point to this ramble is, have you ever tried a Shiatsu massage Jackie? I would thoroughly recommend it to help get you started on your new health regime ❤️

I’m not really much of one for New Year’s resolutions, not at least as such, but there are things I want to get accomplished this year that I’ve been putting off, mostly because of things getting in the way that I had no control over. I spent a lot of time in the last year, particularly the last half of the year, doing things for other people at the expense of doing things for myself, and though some of my time still will have to be spent on others, I want to be able to be nicer to myself. doing things for others is a noble thing, but especially when you get to be my age, it’s good to be able to take care of myself a little bit more. I’m very much looking forward to your reaction to episode six, because I think it may be the best episode of the series so far. And I definitely look forward to whatever is to come, whether it be more reactions or something else entirely. Happy New Year! 🥳
