No it’s most likely just the pitch at which he speaks for the role. I’ve said before about how I speak in a higher placement for videos than I do on the day to day basis.

Smoking doesn’t affect the deepness of his voice like this. This is just a maturity thing. He will also likely be, like most serious weight lifters, on supplements that boost testosterone which will add to the deepening of his voice. But he is also just reaching vocal maturity.

I think his voice is so deep because he smokes now. Kept seeing photos of him with cigarettes so that + aging may be causing Kit’s deep voice.

I often thought that Kits voice is different in Heartstopper, maybe they add some editing to make him sound softer or something like that ?!

I'm loving the Heartstopper content. I love the banter between Kit and Joe and I can't wait to see how their friendship delivers in on screen compatibility for our favourite characters. And the fact that we got not one but two videos today is incredible. I cannot wait until Thursday.

I had literally just finished watching that interview on YouTube when I saw the notification pop up for this …. So I watched it again with you. 😁 I love this interviewer. He just was so natural with them & had fun questions. One of the other ones, I think it may be the one for Gayety … Kit, in particular, is in rare form & just gets inadvertently more inappropriate as it goes on. And it’s just hilarious. You’ll enjoy that one for sure!
