Diwali Sweets 2021 Set - 2 New Custom Recipies

Diwali is the festival of lights, it lasts for several days. During this festival, one thing among many thatβs done is to make or share sweets. While there are many others that are shared, Pista (Pistachio) Barfi and Badam (Almond) Laddu are the two I made this year.

Pista Barfi:
Pista barfi is a sweet made up of ground almonds and pistachios, cardamom, some kind of milk and syrup. The dry ingredients are added to the syrup and then cooked until boiling, the mixture is then allowed to set in a tray until it's solid, and then cut into pieces to eat.
Notes:
- It has all three meal sizes (8 servings, 4 servings and single serving)
- Optional icemunmun pistachio, almond , soya flour and cardamom and SCCO any sugar (can be cooked without)
- Vegetarian-Safe (With lactose free version)

Badam Laddu:
Badam laddu is a popular Indian sweet, prepared into circle shapes, this sweet is made by mixing ground almond, coconut and cardamom mixed with clarified butter (ghee) or clarified vegetable oil (vegetable ghee) and dried fruit and nuts until it's a firm dough that can be shaped into the laddu.
Notes:
- It has all three meal sizes (8 servings, 4 servings and single serving)
- Original: Optional icemunmun almond, cardamom, ghee EA coconut, SCCO any sugar (can be cooked without)
- Vegan: Optional icemunmun almond, cardamom, EA coconut, SCCO any sugar, any oil (can be cooked without)
- Vegetarian-Safe (With lactose free version)
