Just wanted to say your show is great. It’s enjoyable watching Dad enjoy hip hop as someone older. Seeing him get the feeling on songs like this, is nostalgic for all of us and kind of brings back the feeling of hearing these songs for a first time. And also, a “drop” means he has info on someone he’s looking for location, or as to having info on something like a drug deal that he is looking to rob. “I be on the block, with my thang cocked, possibly sitting on a drop now”

I knew your Dad would love this one! Cell Therapy is a must do also, though. Since he seems to enjoy southern rap and story driven songs, I suggest the music video of My Minds Playing Tricks on Me by the Geto Boys. It's an absolute classic in early southern hip hop.

If your dad enjoys story telling. I would recommend an album by sticky fingaz called black trash: the autobiography of Kirk jones. The entire album is a story from beginning to end. It’s not a well known album, but is underrated.
