some notes on the process:
adjusted face and remade most of the body topology, very wip
remade the rig. no corrective shape keys and no weight painting (just auto weights), making it easy to change the topology at any time. also very wip
face used to be animated with shape keys, now it uses bendy bones
hair physics improved a bit, now it's bad instead of terrible. also automated proxy mesh creation and weight paint
switched to using marvelous designer for most clothing and cloth sims

anyway, sorry about the absence. something happened shortly after the last post which took me away from 3d for a while, but things are returning to normal now. hoping to post more often (again)
