New tiers and ideas!
🕑 Added 2020-12-16 01:00:12 +0000 UTCI am finally ready to commit...I think I'm ready for TIERS.
Please don't feel obliged to subscribe to the higher tiers especially if money is tight for you or if the content isn't good enough, I think my main fear is not living up to expectations but may e doing it will be enough for me to make the effort!

Base tier: thank you for your love and support, I think you're in my good books. 24hr early video access (schedule permitting)

£idk whether to charge more for behind the scenes and blooper videos
£20: a personal thank you card and I want to think about other physical items to send!

sadly i think i can't afford upping my pledge from the cheapest tier right now but i'm glad you added more whatever helps you keep the vids going! i can't keep up with twitch lately so every new video makes my day better! hope you'll shoot some music related stuff in the future in addition to genre movies, i would love to see that!

I pretty much agree with Alex. Make the 3rd tier a tenner and it's all fair, neat and tidy. Personally, I'll probably stick to the lowest tier for now, since being on disabled benefits means you're always tight on money... unless those physical items include Candice 👉👈 Really looking forward to the next episode of Soft Focus. I'm sure you'll smash all our expectations once again!

Patreon generally takes around 5-15% depending on some factors, twitch takes around 50%. (To save some maths work)

My only thought would be to start small and make sure the tier rewards are both manageable for you in terms of time and cost especially if you're thinking about mailing physical items. Based on my limited experience sending parcels to college friends who have since dispersed around the globe I never realized how fast the shipping costs could mount even for small things and wouldn't want to see higher tier rewards end up costing you more than they bring in.

More ways to spend money on you! I think this is a very good way to split up the tiers and fair reward for all of them. I am very excited for the top tier. I like being able to specifically support your YouTube endeavors, with how amazing the first video was.

Sounds good! I don't think you'd ever fail to live up to expectations, you've already kicked ass with one video & having more tiers to choose from is great! And I do wonder, compared to twitch especially, what patreon's cut is like? None of my business ofc, so feel free to tell me to stick it :P Looking forward to the next vid, and the vid after that, and so on!

Exactly! Setting up a tier at a price point doesn't mean you're stuck with it eternally. Adjust value as time goes on depending on the value you think it offers.

Definitely, it's tough to know what is fair considering I'm not sure how much BTS and bloopers there will be, I guess I can adjust!

I think £7-10 is probably fair for behind the scenes and bloopers. Probably leaning more towards the £10. Then tiers would be a tidy £1, £5, £10, £20.
