Gratitude and Goodbyes
🕑 Added 2021-01-02 21:15:55 +0000 UTCHappy New Year everyone! This beginning also marks a new end, as I will no longer be updating my Patreon. All payments have been suspended and all previous payments are going directly back into the comic, as I am hiring artists to help things run smoother at higher quality. Your support has been much appreciated and I assume that this post will come as no surprise since I do not update as much as I used to.
The reason for all of this is that Patreon has become a source of unnecessary stress that causes me to avoid drawing anything Sharp Zero related due to the pressure of monetization. I am a full-time student with aims of working in the educational field and am going to pursue that path career-wise and allow my art to flourish as a passion.
Just to emphasize: This is not the end of Sharp Zero, just the Patreon. All art will be archived if the page is privated and will then become available at a later date.

Will see you gladly on twitter Jan. 21st. (I will not touch twitter as long as the current American president is in office.)
I'm glad you're stepping away from stress. You don't need that going forward! I hope your art and stories bring you nothing but joy :3

I hope you get good grades, get a good job with great pay, and have a relaxing schedule so you can have fun drawing again.
Totally understandable!!! I know how monetization can add stress/pressure and steal joy from a project. I nolonger take knitting or sewing commissions for a similar reason. I've loved seeing behind the curtain and hearing life updates from you over the years, but am hoping this change frees up some space in the back of your brain where anxiety about patreon was sitting. Wishing you luck as you work your way through college! See you on the flip side Robo!
