Update on Update
🕑 Added 2021-02-26 01:31:21 +0000 UTCAs people have likely noticed, and as said in other development blogs, I've not been very productive when it comes to the game due to my normal life.
Well, stress has caught up with me, and I'm dealing with major burnout and depression issues. I'm taking steps to hopefully remedy this in March, which will give me more free time.
However, I've discussed with my therapist, and it's important I really do take it easy. I write the game as a hobby, so I will work on it, but only when I feel like it, with no pressure. Luckily, I do enjoy writing it, so hopefully I'll be more productive, but I can't promise anything.
Now, onto actual game discussion, I have decided to revamp the next part of the story. The original plan I had, while good in my head, requires quite a bit of character development and time spent with Sarah before any progress. Too long, perhaps, especially with my low productivity.
I have thought long and hard, experimented, and revised my outline for the rest of the story, and I think I've come up with a good, shorter alternative that is easier to implement.
The next update will be about setting the groundwork for the first real divergent choice and alternative path and ending, I know some of you have wanted more choices, so that be the first real one.
I will continue working on it, and hope to post the first scene of the next update this weekend or the next. I hope you all appreciate my status update, and I hope that you will not be too disappointed with the lack of progress.
I'm very sorry for the slow speed of updates, and if any of you stop supporting me, there are no hard feelings. I only hope you will press the "follow" button and keep enjoying the story.

Take your time... I like to read your story and there's no pressure for you... take your time and get well soon... and I don't see any problems, so I'll keep my support, too.
Plan is indeed to shorten the timeline. Will try to make it as fast as possible while still delivering high quality writing and logical story. Groundwork is being laid for it at the end of the current day, then one or two days later, it will be wrapped up. I want to also write a proper ending for the Sarah route, but that will come in a later update. Of course, during the Sarah storyline, there will also be content with the housemate, I know it's been lacking a little, but my vision of the story required it. (In my mind, at least.)

Thank you for your honesty and communicating this with us. Will follow whatever you give us, no pressure. The only specific feedback I will give is that it is likely that most people, me included, got interested in your story because of the brother-sister relationship, and so we would appreciate if you didn't spend too much of your story and time on the sister's friend, but rather on the sister. Otherwise it's like any vanilla teenage romance stuff.
