I remember I first watch this when it came out as a kid

Funnily enough, my family and I went to Thailand earlier in 2004. We spent the first week in Bangkok and the second on the island of Koh Samui. The thing I remember most about that trip is almost falling off the back of an elephant at one of the parks where they do elephant rides. Anyway, this movie was a good one, just very emotional. The fact that the kid who played Daniel looks almost exactly like my 2 year old nephew didn't help.
