The bit in the middle about the rubbish etc left by morons, you should try & get local authorities or community groups to use it as a public info film.. Made my own leave no trace type sticker as I have a vinyl cutter, 'Take only pictures, Leave only footprints, Camp with respect' Thought it sums up the right attitude to any camping.

From what I've seen on other pages, it needs to be able to be changed back to a van without using any tools to meet their MOT equivalent! :-(

It's bad enough people leaving their rubbish behind, but the * hole's that leave their💩 for others to see is beyond comprehension. Not to mention the danger to public health. Rant over, you did well to bring it to peoples attention tho. Look forward to the next part of your journey. I'm off to buy a leave no trace sticker.

I've had problems with the gas filling too in Spain & Portugal. The button doesn't click on automatically sometimes and you need to press home the nozzle really hard, with one hand, and snap the locking clip yourself with the other! It's a bit of a faff, but can be done. It's noting to do with the bottle V engine, as the person at the pump said. How does the pump know what it's going in to? I've been to similar places where rubbish and humans have used them as a toilet, we really are a disgusting species! Thanks for another good video. Stay safe.

That is worrying news Chas about trying to register a van in Portugal. My van was JUST a van which will hopefully be a camper one day so I cant register that either? Murray

I think its time o set up a webpage NAMING and SHAMING people leaving that disgusting mess on beaches! When I was on the road before I would rather have my van like a tip and use my OWN loo rather than defecate on a public beach! Take nothing but photos leave nothing but footprints. Take my rubbish to a place with bins or dumpsters? Like CJ said it will close off the world to 'wild campers' especially Portugal which I have liked an been looking for 'land' for over 7 years. :(

If you follow housless not homeless on youtube he goes over this. You have to convert to re register to Portugal (matriculate) Martin bought a local motorhome and sold his van as virtually impossible or at least extremely expensive to do as vehicle has been converted from it's original purpose.

Just a question as I am quite interested. Once you move to Portugal, will you have to register the van there? Only if it stayed on British plates, wouldn't it have to return for the annual m.o.t? Sorry I know it's not related to the video but it's something I have always wondered.

Van my van stolen in January this year, but it's weird how I watch your videos thinking that could be us, at the same time gives me motivation to do it all again!! Surprised you didn't have a rope toy for Lance to grab hold of one end with his teeth on the hill/cliff and you pull the other hehe! Also can't believe the state of the beach! It's amazing people like you who suffer from arseholes who don't look after the area they camp in plus stupid Karen's butting there noise in to your business! Also love you both, you're such an inspiration to my partner and I. we love watching your videos and being apart of your journey, but most of all we love seeing Lance!
