Stelvio Pass Pirates - Broke Up: Ep.9

So when I last left you we'd postponed climbing Stelvio Pass for wait for better conditions, so now is the time! And MAN was it intense!
The "better conditions" part didn't really go to plan...
From there me and Lance explore the 2757m summit, cross into Switzerland illegally, Grab a takeaway and then, and this is where things get different, I join some friends and we set sail on the open seas as pirates!
as I bring you along for one of the often mentioned nerd sessions.
Let me know your thoughts there, I know it's not anything related to what we usually do but it's a window into the other side of my life so thought I'd try broadening out n see how it goes.
It's a only solid 25 hours later than intended. ๐คฆ๐ผโโ๏ธ
This one gave me a real headache rendering, I've been at it all of last night and today and it's finally released my weeks work! But as a result, some of my meticulous audio fine tuning has been lost. So I'm sorry if some of the levels are off or the odd file overlaps but if I have to try n edit/render this one again I'm going to scream. ๐

Wee bit late to the party but that was a fantastic video. Stelvio pass is on our bucket list, maybe in our two tuk Tuks. Love seeing the "nerdy" gaming side , makes for whole different content but really enjoyable too.

Slowly catching up on the Broken up series, it was great to join a nerd session in a Sea of Thieves all while at the top of the Stelvio, just what vanlife should be all about chilling out and having fun. Hope your keeping well. AL

I've not done stelvio but I did do some mountains in snowdonia and I gotta say at one point with the speed tailing off in every gear I did get worried!

The traffic does take some off it, but then again I did it in the height of summer holidays. But well worth doing regardless. Regular stops defo do help and there are plenty. Ah nice, I'll check it out! ๐๐ป

Stelvio pass looks good, but does the amount of traffic and what seems like inexperienced mountain drivers it attracts affect it much? I drove through the fremch alps 2 years back and some of the quiet mountain roads were amazing. When they started to get busy it made it much less fun as you had to focus so much on the roads you couldn't take in much of the views. I imagine stelvio is another level completely, although I guess regular stops would help with that and there seems to be quite a few. That pirates game reminds me of Guns of Icarus. There's also Depth which is a hilarious co-op game if you don't mind a good jump scare. Highly recommend using a mouse on the shark team for that one though. When you "bite" someone, you thrash the mouse about to inflict more damage ๐
