I think I personally prefer the linear one, because it's clear to me that it loops around

I feel like they express two different things. One is how actual process. The other is how it feels.

Would it overcomplicate it if you tried to combine the 2? I like the over the shoulder commentator from the cloud version but think the experience is circular and swirly in how most of us experience it. We obsessively circle around these thoughts multiple times (at least this girl with ADHD & too much dopamine going on does!!)

Like the cloud better -- 3rd Bad Idea, yes/no shoulder imps (60s cartoon meme) but don't want to make your decision more of a nuisance. Bad Ideas just have to be set free sometimes ;)

As much as I love the cloud's reactions, it reminds me a lot of things i've seen on Awkward Yeti. I feel like the circle text is more on brand, but both would be awesome!

tots agree with the above! also think the fraught relationship between the person and the cloud/thoughts is captured just perfectly!
