Just wanted to share a quick update on the progress from the previous build.
Check out this video example: https://twitter.com/ProjectHerald/status/1653533394515423241
Here are the main things that have been updated:
- Variables now support multiple "contexts" for a single dialogue script. This is to support NPCs. For example, ten characters can use the same script, and one script uses the same variable. In order to differentiate the same characters, the script generates a context that is unique for each character, and thereby allows script to determine exactly what each character did or said.
- I slightly changed the User Interface in the dialogs to make the prototype look a bit like a game.
- The Interaction Menu now highlights involved Actors in Dialogue script.
- Fixed: Critical error related to variables, when in some cases the variable was not saved.
- Fixed: Many different bugs in the Interaction Menu. Now it works much better.
Still working on Gameplay Ability States.
Thanks so much for your support and patience.
Talk to you all again soon!

Yes, totally agree. We are looking for a better solution. Unfortunately, UE currently doesn't provide a robust solution for UI scaling like Unity does, or even HTML. Something always breaks at different screen resolutions. A complete mess. :D
