Really appreciated this episode and the two linked articles. I agree with Ganz. I also think there are conditions that moved the Silicon Valley tech bros to the right which happened under Biden (let's remember that once Musk supported Obama). But yes super scary especially with the potential confrontation with China, their support for right wing movements on a global scale, technology and the ability to use it to push more authoritarianism. But I also think about how the tech right is not monolithic and there are divisions and tensions.
