Progress Sneak Peek - July 19

This has been a normal week, with more of the same that I was already doing last week, so I'll try to make this post as concise as possible 😊
In the writing part, I find myself editing and finalizing the last details. On one hand, I've decided to cut some of the content, as it was being too extensive, and it would be impossible to make renders for all that amount of content before the end of the month. The content I have decided to leave out of the update (for the moment) it’s Cassie's story. I want to focus this update on the Shogukuni and give depth to the story of Yui, Kaede and Shizuka, both their pasts and their personal conflicts. For the same reason, some crossover events have been added between the girls, where we will see them interacting much more than before.
Now, Charlotte's story has a new main story event, with which it will be possible to unlock the hot springs for her. However, it will also have story content, but with a different format, as it will be added as an extension of the crossover story between Yui and Charlotte. To know what to do at each moment, an icon will be added to the events tab in both Yui's and Charlotte's character profile. This content will only be available if you have progressed in the story of both girls simultaneously.
During the night, the map of Argleton will be very limited in the locations we will be able to visit. Each location will be unlocked as certain requirements are met. For example, to gain access to the Shogukuni during the night, it will be necessary to progress in Yui's story. This logic will also be applied for night visits to the Miss Pumpkin in the next part of this update.
A new slower and calmer theme music has also been finished, which is a variation of the Shogukuni's theme music, but will help to set the mood of the place during the night. I think it helps a lot to the Feudal Japan style atmosphere that the place should convey.
Finally, I've been working on some renders for this update, but there is still a ton to do before the update is finished. This is because I've had to spend a lot of time preparing the Enhanced Edition public update, which will not be receiving any more updates for the time being, in order to concentrate all my time and energy on completing the Alpha of version 0.7.

Yeah, was a tough decision at first. But I wanted to make something that felt different from other 3d games, something more colorful and closer to 2d. I think drastic features like that can make it more memorable <3
I kinda felt like it's a style. It fits with the palette.

The only thing that bothers me about this Game is that none of the enviroments have shadows. I never notice before but now that I have realized it every scene looks a little off (not really a problem just a minor thing I noticed) Otherwise the Game is Great!
