Lucky Paradox 0.8.4 - Final
🕑 Added 2023-03-04 19:00:02 +0000 UTCThis update is focused on content, without as many features or technical details, because I want to focus more on the story and its development.
I will also remove as many technical details as possible from the changelogs, to make them easier to read and not as bulky as before.
The compilation method has been modified in this build, so that it will be possible to add Patchs in the next updates, without the need to download the whole game again.
Right now, I'm testing the new android build, and reading the feedback of the players, so u could choose between this new Android build or Joiplay :)

this is a Beta, i couldn't call it Final, cause i need to test some component on 8.5 and 8.6 But its bug free so dont worry :)

Question. The file says it’s 8.4 Beta, and when you open the game, the Home Screen says 8.4Beta. Is it the Beta or the final?

6. Install "Luck.paradox-release.apk" 7. go back to internal storage folder and select DOCMUMENTS > RENPY-SAVES > LUCKY.PARADOX > GAME 8. Paste "archive.rpa" here 9. Exit your file explorer and run the app. Stawer your more than welcome to copy my instructions and use them to help clear up confusion

1. Download Lucky Paradox for android on PC 2. Extract files to remove .RAR file format 3. Plug your phone into your PC and Transfer your Lucky paradox folder into your phones Internal storage 4. On your phone navigate to your internal storage and open the folder you just moved there 5. Copy "archive.rpa"

This still doesn't make sense to me. number 4. Copy and paste it where? The steps to install this new apk are the following: 1. Install the apk 2. Go to the new created location, should be: INTERNAL MEMORY > DOCUMENTS > RENPY_SAVES > LUCKY.PARADOX > GAME 3. May vary between Android versions and phones. 4. Copy & Paste archives.rpa. 5. Enjoy!

So what "folder" are we supposed to copy and paste it to for it to be the right folder?

I have to do that because the game became too big for Android, so due to software limitations I can't compile everything in a single file and I have to leave the graphic resources of the game apart. So right now there are two options, use the apk and copy the files inside or use Joiplay and directly emulate the Windows version on Android.

I'm having the same issue I've copied into the folder but there is now way to download the game from that point its still just giving the error

Why is it only in zip format? Is there no way for you to post it in apk format? Makes it extremely difficult to play the game

I unzipped and read directions but I don't understand where I'm supposed to copy and paste archive to. What folder is the right folder? Sorry I don't understand.

This error occurs because the game cannot access the archive.rpa, it must be copied to the right folder

Anyone else have the following problem after the title screen on Android? Suggestions on how to fix? [code] I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. While loading : File "renpy/common/000statements.rpy", line 569, in execute_call_screen IOError: Couldn't find file 'images/esp_idle.png'.

Thank you for all the work you put into this! Meeting Juliette was wonderful, almost thinking we're getting into milf territory, but like Akiko I don't think the story is going there. Where ever it is though, I'm on board. Thank you again!

Basicamente, que ahora si se puede generar una version android por apk y ademas la diferencia entre la normal y la compressed es el tiempo de descarga y la calidad de los renders y videos

Es la Beta, ya que no fueron reportados errores despues de la Beta, no he hecho correcciones mas que a la version de Android, por lo que no vi necesario resubir todo desde 0.

La unica diferencia es que la version de 2.22GB tiene peor calidad de imagen y menor resolucion en algunas animaciones. La historia, contenido y todo lo demas sigue igual. Lo del cambio de metodo de compilacion, es con la intencion de hacer parches pequeños para actualizar el juego de forma mas eficiente, pero aún es necesario esperar a la siguiente actualizacion para saber si realmente funciona o no.
