Crafting Lucky Paradox #7: Cooking Up Content for Charlotte and some News

It has been quite an interesting few weeks in the development of Lucky Paradox, though it has also been a time for some considerations.
As usual, during the first weeks of each update, all my efforts are focused on both planning and writing the story script. Though on this occasion I have decided to change the initial intention I had for the next release, I need to explain a few details.
Originally, I had the idea of incorporating a series of Christmas events into the new update. However, reflecting on previous years' experiences, and being honest about it, I think this content is not that appealing to players. It is not very rewarding to think about spending time on something that is not well received after all, rather, it is quite frustrating....
Considering the time I've been doing this, I know that making a release during the month of December is a bit complicated, since it's a lot of holiday dates (And Christmas presents, Yey!), so a release would be ideal for the first two weeks of December, since it will surely go unnoticed during the last two weeks, because everyone is focused on other things hahaha
I think the best option now is to keep moving forward with the main script. Currently, my goal is to speed up the pace of the story, as there is still a lot to explore. Introducing more 'festive' events would only prolong the development time of the game, and I also must consider the planned content for secondary characters, among other things.
Right now, I'm still working on new Charlotte content, which I'm very excited about, as I've been wanting to add Milf content to the game for a while now, and if you've been paying attention to the story, you'll know what I mean, as well as new content with Sophia, who also needs it.
My intention in the future is to include content for both Juliette, Charlotte's mother, and Galila, Mary's mother, though the latter will be a Corruption type story.
And don't forget those three stars in the player profile, which still have no use... So, we must remedy that somehow!
Along with this, I'm planning to make new content for Prim and her cousin Iris, this time with some content for her side story, where we'll help her with the Barrie farm.
As you can guess, it's a considerable amount of content, so removing the Christmas events from the formula will give me much more room to try new fun and original ideas in the game.
My intention right now is to release version 0.9.1 for Patreons during the month of January next year, with all the content I can make until then. If I’m lucky (haha), it will be an update as huge as the previous one with Yui and Luna's content (Maybe version 0.9.0 it will probably be released for free during the first two weeks of December? I'm not sure yet...)

I know this has been a bit of a strange progress report, and I hope I'm making a good decision regarding the development of the next update...

I love the storyline so far. So, I’d say do storylines for now. However, I love side quests too. So, I support whatever you do. You could do like I’ve had other ones do where it’s unlocked side content if you hit a certain point in the storyline. They typically place it in an area like with the memories. So, could be a new firefly type color even? Then, you experience it whenever and don’t have to wait for the dates and can make new ones when you have free time to work on it and not pressured to rush the storyline for the holidays dates.

I do like the idea of holiday content. However, with all the other stuff that you have planned. I feel sticking to the main story is a better option. You can always add holidays stuff down the road. (I also prefer Halloween to Christmas personally.) Ultimately, I want it to be made to your vision of how you see your creation! Take care
