Crafting Lucky Paradox #29: Ufology and Witches

And we continue with the development of version 0.9.4, everything continues as planned and with many new features.
The main story of Liz is finished for this version, although I want to edit the texts a little more, so that it is not so extensive, since the result takes more time to go through than I had budgeted, and personally I prefer that the content from now on has a little more agile rhythm, without accelerating it too much either.
Liz's new content consists of discovering the secrets of the museum, the hidden background and rivalry between the Grant family, the Mayor's assistants for generations, and Blair’s, who have been somehow disowned and condemned to live in the woods of Argleton.
To start this new story arc for Liz, it will also be necessary to have a progress of 4 with Luna, as the latter will also be quite important and will actively participate during the story.
I like to be able to work on Luna's content for the month of Halloween, so the dates have coincided perfectly hahaha.
As we progress through this new content, we unlock new artifacts that we will be able to investigate in the museum, as well as a new power for the protagonist, which for now will remain a secret so as not to give too many relevant spoilers. About the artifacts, we will be able to investigate them in the same way as those currently in the game, so if you enjoy the lore of Argleton, you will have a lot to discover.
A new ritual has also been included, where Liz will participate. If you have already played the ritual in Luna's story, you can get an idea that all sorts of crazy things will happen (AND erotic scenes).
On the other hand, I've been working quite a bit on Bonnie's story, which was the winner of the last poll. I've been tossing around quite a few ideas, since as always, I want her side story to feel unique from what's been seen so far.
This time I want to make a story more focused on slapstick humor and that is quite more exaggerated, Bonnie is a girl with good intentions, but at the same time she is too clumsy, dangerous even for her own bodily integrity and whoever accompanies her.
I want to give her a more Irish touch, as it is an important part of her characterization, so I want to make a unique theme for her story, taking this as a base. Like Celestine with Reggae. I think these kinds of details give more personality to these stories.
We will need to have a sufficient level of Charisma to be able to progress in her story. This time I want to put a little more demanding barriers, since there was a criticism with Celestine because its content was too easy to get. My intention as a developer is not to restrict too hard either, as I don't want it to become a barrier to progress, so I will test enough until I find a “Sweet Spot”, probably it will be easier during the next Alpha, but we'll see when the time comes.

I admit this, I think it will take quite a while for people who start the game for the first time to get 50 or 80 charisma (because they have to do various events)

About the barriers... I think it very much depends on when any of us started playing the game. Thankfully for a very long time, we have been able to keep our save games when updating from one version to the next. So most of us have played the game already A LOT and it is natural in this case that the player stats have skyrocketed. Hence the stat barriers appear laughable at times. HOWEVER, I imagine once the game is completed and there are thousands of people starting the game who have never played it before, will have a good challenge to reach those stat barriers.
