Crafting Lucky Paradox #35: I have been sick...

These last two weeks have been problematic, so much so that I have the feeling that time has advanced more slowly than normal, and that it has been quite complicated when it comes to doing my work.
This last week I fell ill due to a strong flu that left me in bed for several days, with fever, inflammation and almost no energy. For a moment I thought it was Covid, but luckily, I was able to recover.
Unfortunately, this has delayed some of the development of the new content for almost a week, only now I feel at 80% capacity...
During the first week I have done the planning and sketching of the content that will come with version 0.10.1, with the continuation of the tournament, as well as adding an extension to Kaede's side story and another to Masami, each will help to complement Yui's main story and will have repercussions in the outcome of this arc.
As for the main story, we will be able to see the concern and fear with which the Dragons react to the presence of Yaeko Masayoshi. Leading Cassie to even consider a rather extreme method to “deal” with her presence, since direct confrontation would be suicide.
We, on the other hand, accept the reality more and more, since this new “girl” is not like the others: for Yaeko the division between good and evil is just an anecdote, it is not possible to reason with her, nor to try to get inside her to open up sentimentally, because she is unbalanced and psychopathic, but also more intelligent than she seems, and she knows that she has everyone in the palm of her hand.
However, Yaeko feels a kind of “attraction” towards us... Like a Yandere? Or maybe... Like something much more dangerous and sicker?
But there's not too much time either, as the next fight is here and we must find a way to defeat Kitaoka or lose everything in the attempt.
As for Kaede, we'll have to help her regain her confidence and help with her training, so she can become stronger, besides having a fun time with her too ;)
It will be important to keep up with Shizuka and Kaede's stories, if we want to take the tournament on the right track, without forgetting Princess Masami, as she could play a fundamental role in the outcome.
This, and much more, will come in this new update!
As for the new erotic scene, I've been doing some testing to include sound effects during the animations. My intention is to add sound effects, but without moans, as I've always wanted the player to be able to imagine the voice for each girl, and I don't want to take away that connection between you and the girls by using moans.
That doesn't take away from the rest though!
For now, I want to work on a synchronization between movement and speed, to make it more immersive, and in theory it shouldn't be too complicated, we'll see how it turns out when it's time to apply everything in the final version.
I will progressively evaluate this system for the erotic scenes during the next months of development, and with the help of your feedback I think I will be able to reach perfection.
Once everything is defined, start revisiting old scenes, remastering animations and adding sounds progressively, until all the scenes of the game are complete and full of sound.

I'm sorry for the delay due to the flu... I’ve been very sickly and I’ve tried to take care of myself as much as possible, but even so it hasn't been enough.
I think the time is getting closer to release version 0.9.5 to the public, and for now I think it would be ideal within two weeks, on March 18th.

I'm sorry to learn of your lost loved ones. I have been very fortunate in that regard, but I'm sure it really sucks. w.r.t. severity of symptoms, COVID is pretty opportunistic - it affects those with pre-existing conditions the most strongly. I have asthma, so any kind of respiratory disease tends to suck extra and last forever, but my children have also gotten COVID and hardly even noticed. As far as getting reinfected, it's like any disease: once you have it and get over it, resistance goes up and getting it again will be less likely and will entail less severe symptoms if it is caught. At any rate, I'm glad you're getting better. Take care of yourself!

fortunately I haven't suffered COVID, but I lost loved ones because of it, I don't know how my body would react and I prefer not to know I thought COVID only affected once, but in your case was several times
