This is a substantial rework of the page, though I like that it makes them seem less robotic in their speech.

Somehow I always got the impression that Talon might intend to give Alex mischief, or at least she doesn’t hold as strongly to other cultural taboos of her people. Case in point the handshake scene. Personality-wise she just seems quite bit more free-wheeling and outgoing than the others and not exactly pinned down by societal or cultural expectations.

Arioch, I wouldn't read my comment as confusion. :) It was interesting phrasing, but in the context of the story I think it makes perfect sense - with maybe some underlying details that could come out of it.

To my human ears, "Why [do you need privacy]? I have already seen you naked." reads as a little bit of a contradiction; the second half seems to imply they already know the answer to the enquiry. I'm curious how this relates to Loroi culture. This could just be a translation issue, but one (or at least, *this* one) has to wonder whether it's deeper than that.

Ah, fighter jocks. Never change Don't feel bad about taking this long. Watching Outsider still going on and still putting out pages --and actully picking up the pace some -- after a decade and a half filled me with Determination.

Also, for a species that 'doesn't do' tactile contact, they seem to be otherwise pretty lax about personal boundaries...or it's been a while since the last time they've been around a male; even for a species with an 8:1 ratio...

I second the above emotion. I've seen dozens of projects like this fizzle and vanish over the years. It says something about your passion for the story you're telling that you're not giving up on it, even if the timetable isn't what you might have initially envisioned. Whether it's a page a week, a month, or a year, progress is progress. Keep moving forward :)
