I've been working on stuff for chapters that are a long way off, which has been fulfilling for me and will ultimately pay off in the long run, but I haven't much to show for it in the near term. And, of course, in the past week there have been recurring power outages where I live... the universe rarely fails to punish me for procrastination.

Wouldn't it make more sense to leave him alone with Talon, then? Also, it seems most of the crew will be bunking down in the room, I'm guessing it will only be Talon on duty to observe the controls.

It seems more and more likely that Beryl might be getting pulled from the room - given the mental conversation in the previous strip. If Tempo wants information (or control), she might be pulling rank to get him alone with the only one aboard (Spiral) with whom he's had strictly positive interactions.

The fact they were curious about how he looks and several comments have made the point he looks like a Loroi male with some ummm features different in a positive way. Means he could be on the menu. Discipline seems good on Loroi ships but cultural pitfalls might occur. Teasing is pretty certain.

I think she means that she won't be comfortable until her flight suit comes off. That's probably why she's stretching as she gets out of it. I'm guessing the suit is rather restrictive and stiff to wear.
