Also: nice replacement panel showing Fireblade putting her amp back on. I like seeing the changes in the pages as it becomes more fleshed out; feels better this way, with Fireblade being the subject and we getting a look at her rather than seeing Beryl's expression as she explains something.

It wouldn't surprise me if, at some point, Talon and others get reprimanded for flirting with the alien. Or perhaps acting the way they do is just how they normally interact with males. I look forward to seeing more dialog/interaction with Fireblade so we get a better idea on what she thinks of Alex. Part of me wonders if she sees him as a trained telepathic warrior who just won't admit it or something along those lines.

I think we are going to find out just how much the gals accept him more as a male instead of just an alien by the time this little lifeboat experience is done.

Alex is still keeping it to himself that Fireblade is the one he could kinda sense clear across the ship. If she felt/noticed that (which seems possible given the professional psychic, or maybe Alex/humans are really shielded), she's keeping it to herself. It would be interesting if she eventually has a conversation with him about it. It would be VERY interesting if this conversation is non-verbal (telepathy).
