Escargot and Foi gras notwithstanding, I think French cuisine is considered fairly mainstream these days. Perrein cuisine is a little more... extreme.

It's interesting thinking of the context here. Most of these Loroi know their squadrons are decimated, and realistically, they're next during the coming days. With the big Umiak push, there's a very realistic chance they'll be gone in 30 days or less. It's sunset on their lives, the last chapter.. This is the Last Sleepover. But hey! At least my final days are interesting. Before I went into the dark waters, I got to meet a new species, a "human", and they're oddly similar to Loroi in body plan. And of COURSE we took one last chance to sass Perrein cuisine. Zing!! Not a bad life, all told.

They both ate eggs. Deinar had a Soia-Liron imported chicken analogue (though it looks very little like a chicken... it's scaly), and Taben had native marine line with eggs that could be harvested (though not exactly farmed). Perrein is significantly older than Earth, and so while its climates zones are not as diverse as Earth's, its native life has had much longer to evolve and adapt. So it's quite diverse within its individual biomes, and hyper-adapted (read: dangerous).

I notice that you added eggs to Tempo's statement, so do both Taben and Deinar eat eggs, or just one of them? Also, is Perrein diverse like Earth, or just compared to the other sister worlds or the Union?
