I hope you are able to focus on this more as you move towards your goal. As for what I'd like to see; try to keep the story evenly spaced with the occasional 2 pages in close proximity. Not going to lie, I feel like were getting something special when we get the quick hit of 2 pages.

How about cross-sections of the ships and stations? Like those old cross-sections books you could get back in the 90s for things like Star Destroyers or submarines. I would love to see some of the outsider form replies converted into more fleshed out insider background info. I've always loved the world building behind the story. The ships, the people, the technology, the worlds. Another thought would be commissioned or authorized fan-fiction to give background characters more background to expand on the existing universe. Writers would sign an NDA and licensing agreement so you preserve rights to whatever fiction they create. In exchange they get privileged story information so their work remains in-scope. If the fanfic is really good you may even find yourself a partner to help with the story.

No, the whole point to having two pages per update would be that patrons would only be charged once. Though honestly it's sounding less and less like a good idea.

Even just one more update a month would be pretty rad, i.e. first or second monthly update has two. Current course works fine.

Shorter completed stories that require no prior knowledge of the comic could be used to attract those that are unwilling to pay up for a 200+ pages printed comic. Once hooked THEN they could go for the whole thing.

A printed comic doesn't have to be limited to 40 pages. Each Outsider chapter is ~100 pages; I own tons of printed comics that are 200 pages or more.

Printed comics are different. Simply put the phasing in Outsider is to slow for a printed comic as such the whole story would have to be massively truncated OR new stories suitable for printed comics would have to be made. A story, if part of the Outsider universe, could be a more detailed story about the first contact (Arrival of the Orgus) from the point of wiev of the Orgus, the humans or both. Or maybe a deeper dive into the events now talked about in the main comic like a story about Fireblade at the teidar academy. Something totally different maybe? A civilian fighting for her life during an hierarchy occupation succeeding so well that she ends up promoted to the warrior caste. Maybe a short hunting story from Tempo's perspective? There are so many possibilities to create shorter stories that DO fit within 40 pages in printed comic.

Similar to what Games Workshop does with those massive imperial armour books.

Well, if the pledge level is high enough, in effect I would be getting paid for each page. My reason for considering the idea of multiple pages per update is that I think more than 4 updates per month would be too burdensome on individual patrons, as well as suffering from diminishing returns (due to the way Patreon works, you get less money from each successive update in a month).

Finding out THE STORY is my primary objective, any medium (digital of course being the most maneuverable). Books could be fun, but maybe at the end once it's "done". An omnibus mega-book of the whole story would be a great way to cap off the ride. My main wish is more updates!

Well, I honestly don't care about future goals, I want that the comic progresses in an swifter and regular pace. So that the story can progress, and as much as I like good written characters, the sluggish progression and lack of action makes it a bit tedious at the moment, especially with the slow rate of releases. (Ok and I hope it will help Stars in Shadow progression too ;) )
