The Highland-7 shuttle is aboard the Umiak cruiser KTKh-3827. The Umiak removed Cloud's body from the shuttle, but our heroes don't yet know what was done with it.

Yeah since the comic is going for more “hard” route, so no somber space opera space funeral (assuming if it can be done with waste furnace or recycler).

Also I almost forgot a question that I should have asked about Cloud’s body. Was she on a different ship or on current ship since I thought they are on the same ship as hers.

Highly illegal to dump waste in space. Having played a lot of Frontier I done that a lot by taking on waste (negative prize so get paid for taking it) and then dumping it somewhere. 😈

It would probably be incinerated along with other waste, and stored until reaching port. Dumping things out into space would present a serious hazard in an inhabited or heavily transited system, so it's highly illegal.

Disposed, like shot out of airlock in coffin/body bag (too much debris even in remote area), or cremation/recycling (more practical)?

In deployed fleet units, the dead are normally disposed of unless it is known that the deceased's culture required some funerary rituals, and it is practical to store the body for return. In Cloud's case, the practicality of her return is still an open question.
