How about a soft sequel to your proper use only sketch? A haughty woman runs into one of those mobility stair lifts and mocks its uses. She decides to ride it for fun, but as it ascends she unknowingly reality shifts into a fatter more needy version of her self. Eventually, as the chair reaches the top of the stair well her massive size causes the machine to lock up right before she reaches the top, and she laments the fact she has to take 4 steps on her own. Could even throw some fun stuff like the chair being for a smaller person at the start, but shifting into a heavy duty version because of the shift
