So happy you checked out India Arie again. I was the one that suggested you do her song Good Man.

This was great, guys. Would have loved to witness Sade live. Smokie still sounds good! India Arie was such a refreshing alternative to mainstream R&B when she first came on the scene — musically and aesthetically. R&B was very glitz/glam & and heavily produced during that time. She was a counterbalance with songs built around a guitar. Lyrics centered on self worth/spirituality. Minimalist/natural style.

India arie is very talented and refreshing in the sense of what she represents her first 2 albums i really love. Her music is very spiritually touching in a way thats hard to describe She has much more uplifting feel good music too than Ready For Love, which is a good song but i Never like artists most famous/known songs so definetely should check out more of her for sure

Sade is the Queen! I like seeing her live, but with her music sometimes if you listen to the studio version, you get all of the nuances and it just sounds amazing. You guys should listen to the studio version of Nothing Can Come Between Us, you definitely will not think it's simple.

So y'all just unlocked a memory of a live performance by Alien Ant Farm from MAD TV. It's mostly a Michael Jackson cover, but also has a small Sade tribute that's not on the studio version of the song.

For PC 89; speaking of unique female voices, can you listen to 'You Bring Me Joy' or 'Sweet Love' by Anita Baker?

Mid 90's- I'm in Raleigh, North Carolina at an large outdoor music venue. Walking around the audience, selling incense & attending a "Sade" concert that featured a full orchestra assemble. Even though I was conducting business, I was so grateful to have such a fantastic soundtrack (voice) to sell to. #1 Concert Of My Life!!🎶❤️

OMG Sade!! Idk where this specific video came from but I 100% saw this concert when it came to NJ!!! I remember the white outfit seemed to glow & her bare feet & flowy movements put me in a trance!! I'm pretty sure she heard me & my male BFF proclaim our devotion in the silent moments! Absolutely amazing!! 🤩🥰

Requesting Lisa Fischer’s Grammy-winning song, “How Can I Ease the Pain”. Dad would especially love her vocal abilities in it. She toured with the Rolling Stones for the past 26 years until 2015. ❤️

So glad you did a Sade live song. Please do more! In my opinion the closest to come to Sade in modern sound has been Snoh Aalegra and Naomi Sharon. Would love for you guys to check them out!

I agree with Kai and Dad that she has such a unique voice. She’s one of my favorite artist to listen to. Kiss of Life is my favorite song Kai. I agree that it’s such a beautiful song. It was great performance from all the artists.
