I love trying to get the Android translate app to give me "official" translations for the terms y'all describe for us. The app let's us type in roman alphabet phonetic versions of Chinese words, and today I tried Mêi nú ... which the app said was 美奴 ... but the English translation the Android 12 app gave was: u.s. slave ?! 😳 implying maybe some important history? Or maybe the app or I are too naïve?
