I've seen other content creators talking about burnout in the context of some of the largest ones losing thousands of subs (on twitch, which is a lot of money) if they take even a single day off. Some people are really unreasonable with their expectations of the creators they watch. Plus you never know what they've got going on but maybe choosing to keep private. People forget these creators are humans I think.

wow, i am blown away by the negativity!! what the fuck guys?! They each have children, wives, families, personal YT channels, co YT channels, and so on. Everyone needs a break now and again, and it is up to them to decide when to take it. Have you never taken a personal day at work, or a sick day? Using 'simp' to describe yourself and others is more 'cringe' than ppl doing what you deem simping aka. telling you they can afford monthly donations and don't feel slighted. Winston always makes sure to thank patrons overly humbly at the end of each video, and sounds a bit stressed here, so myself I just assume something happened last minute! I genuinely don't feel dissed. As Fortunateson wrote, they have 3 shows (on *the same* topic) + kids. I think it's good/healthy they take time off to spend with their families to not get burnt out. But I kind of see my monthly donation as... a donation. I'm not strictly expecting additional content here in a timely manner. I feel an extra show at all is ambitious.

If I could afford said slack it would be given. Like it was the last few hiccups. Ca Suffit. I’m disabled on a pension. I can hardly afford to live let alone support creators. I chose the guys first and foremost coz I’ve been a fan for years. Since ADV. and I think that’s what motivated me above all other creators for Patreon. These guys endured and endured and eventually had to flee. Due to corruption. I know this feeling all too well. And the inclusion in the chats was very uplifting (even if C-Milk got it and Winston didn’t). I do love the guys and wish them only the best in all things in life. I simply cannot afford to fund disregard.

The short notice does suck a little, considering the 4th of July is such a prominent date in the US calendar and I can see why you would feel slighted. But, the boys do put in a lot of time and effort to bring us not just the Hou show but the regular China show (not to mention their separate channels) so I do feel some slack should be afforded them.

TBH, the complete lack of regard. I mean it’s not like the 4th is an annual event or anything. Plus last weeks 3 hour early upload Ruined my schedule + was Focused on the one issue I did ask the guys to do a focus on. So I’m sure you can understand. Feels a bit shit to pay $70 and effectively get trolled. I don’t have the income nor the patience for this kind of behaviour.
