Living in a nation where people would rather watch you die than to help you (even if convenient to do so), I absolutely do not put it past the father for hitting the attacker that hard. There's a certain type of person that can develop from a life of never having been punched in the face. You won't know consequences until it happens. I'm sure the attacker now understands her actions may come with immediate (and unfavorable) repercussions. Cheers to the man who did what mainland society has neglected to do: protect those who need protecting, and teach those who need teaching.
