Following your progress, thanks for sharing the building of the show. What a great project! Been working film production my whole life. All sounds so familiar. My heart is with you and your passion.

Birna Magnusdottir

I would like that. Im a first year archaeology student at the University of Iceland, letting my decades long dream come true and been on one introductory dig in the Arbaer museum here, going back this summer(woopwoop) and hopefully many many more all over the place. I subscribed to tier 4, because I see a huge learning opportunity in all this

Mark Lund

Yes I absolutely appreciate that. Will the format be kept the same? Probably.

Phelim McIntyre

The problem with this will be the time limited format. A lot of work is done over a 3 day assessment that the Time Team format is based on, hence most of the "diggers" being commercial archaeologists not research (university/museum) archaeologists. Having worked with volunteers and local archaeology groups the vast majority are nowhere near fast enough or neat enough. Hopefully there will be ways for people to get involved but I doubt digging will be part of it unless you regularly volunteer on university digs or similar.

I second this. It would be fantastic to get involved.

Mark Lund

Is there any chance of lay diggers' getting involved in the digs, as per Digventures? Fee paying of course!

Mark Lund

I feel the nostalgia every time I hear the theme tune...please keep it. Looking forward immensely to see where this will lead.; I'm very glad so many seem to miss the series as much as I do...watched from the very start. Thanks to all for hopefully making this possible. Oh, & Merry Xmas all!

Chris Pylant

Excited to see what's coming. Thank you for allowing us to participate!

Happy to be a part of Time Team’s new adventures. Thank you for all that you are doing!

Love it, thanks!

I spent my 30 year cultural anthro career doing "above-ground" archaeology, which was fascinating--would'a done it for free if it weren't for the catfood for my moggies.. Time Team has filled a huge gap in my retirement & quarantine: similar marvelous colleagues, similar challenges, and especially, like Dr. Henry Chapman's occasional satellite tangles, Troubles with those Yellow Trimbles! I laugh in commiseration!! Bless each of you on your individual successes & thank you, thank you for resuming your projects doing good history for this world. OBEs to all of you! Looking forward to it all

Dennis

Thank you for setting this all up!!!
