It’ll happen sometime, and damage is ongoing, I’d imagine in a few decades, rather than imminently.

I was at the caves last summer, it’s all still there and able to be visited.
I love these updates on old digs!
From the other side of the pond...some cool archeological news! (Thanks to Time Team, I recognized their references to digging 'test pits'!) https://www.cnn.com/2021/04/20/us/harriet-tubman-maryland-archeology-trnd/index.html

Dani's really good at this! Very interesting to see how things have progressed. When you look at the coast there from Pictish to now, the coastal erosion is startling. Having a really good record of what's IN the caves is crucial - they will obviously cease to exist in the future.

I absolutely love when they give updates from the earlier programmes. So much fun to see where it all went

While I really do enjoy the programmes, I find these little snippets so very interesting. Know it must take time to do, but I find it so very exciting. Thank you. Thank you.

Fascinating update for an episode I never saw at the time.
Excellent. Great to hear the early radio-carbon date has been duplicated in later work.
